The Other Bones - The River (Mythosaur Remix)
I definitely think this is the best thing I’ve ever produced.

Disclosure feat. Eliza Doolittle - You & Me (Baauer Remix)
After the incessantly annoying Harlem Shake, I was wondering what we could expect next from Baauer, and this is it. I am addicted.
Disclosure are British brothers Guy and Howard Lawrence and they produce music that takes you right back to the early Garage scene here in the UK, with influences of House and UK Funky thrown in for good measure. Their energy and enthusiasm that comes across in their music is an obvious indicator of how committed they are to this scene and to the aesthetic of their music.
The original track that was put out 3 weeks ago, around a month ahead of their debut album ‘Settle’ already had the potential to hit clubs and live audiences alike HARD. But Baauer tears it a new one.
Baauer takes this track from strength to strength. The already strong vocals from Eliza Doolittle are given a new lease of life in this remix, they come in hard and fast. Baauer’s overall production is defiantly to be praised, his use of synth and drums are what makes this track stand out so much, it could happily be an original. Granted he has somewhat changed the genre from UK Garage towards Trap, but he has done so with eloquence and respect towards the work that Disclosure put into the original. I would go so far to say that I prefer this to the original.
We have an addictive slice of bassy heaven here, and I can guarantee it will be on repeat for days to come -Oliver.
Disclosure’s debut album ‘Settles’ is out on June 3rd.
Release of this remix is May 21st.Disclosure - Facebook | Twitter | SoundCloud | Youtube | iTunes | Website

Daft Punk | Random Access Memories | The Collaborators Episode 3: Nile Rodgers
For all those on Daft Watch, The Creators Project just released the third episode in The Collaborators series about the upcoming Daft Punk album, Random Access Memories.
Nile Rodgers adds his background and wisdom about his experiences playing in Chic and producing, collaborating, and playing behind everyone from Sister Sledge to the Sesame Street band to Duran Duran to David Bowie to Depeche Mode - not to mention the Halo 2 & 3 soundtracks. He’s worked with all kinds of styles including R&B, disco, dance, jazz, fusion, funk, and pop. Let’s just say this man knows a thing or two about music.
Be sure to keep watching through the whole video because he gives us a little taste of his flair on one of the tracks about ten and half minutes in, and there’s a pretty awesome albeit tiny blip after the credits. [Episode 1] | [Episode 2]

Daft Punk – Random Access Memories (Vanderway Edit)
From ThisSongIsSick:
A few weeks back Daft Punk unveiled the first new song to the world in years in the form of a 15 second ad ran during Saturday Night Live. Well fellow French artist Vanderway a part of the L’ordre Collectif decided to reworked the 15 second sample of the track off Random Access Memories into a full on song complete with instruments and live vocals. Aside from being one of the most unique ideas for creating a song, it is incredible. It has a extra chill vibe pumpd full of funky Daft Punk energy … Enjoy!

Check The Other Bones’s new music video for their song “The River.” It almost reminds me of Half-Life, actually.
I was fortunate enough to have my remix of this song officially released on their EP, which you can listen to/download here.

Alright, here’s my live mix from this tonight, complete with a track list and free download here.
I think the recording messed up a spot or two, and I personally messed up here and there, but 1) it was my first time and 2) sometimes i turned things down to talk or whatever. Anyways, enjoy!
sometimes i listen to hardcore techno, terrorcore, speedcore, splittercore, gabber, extratone, etc. just because it’s super interesting.
although the problem is, 90% of it is made by really really wacked out people who sample some really messed up crap.
