Didn’t get one for Christmas, but I’m buying a keyboard/synth/midi controller thing with Christmas money tomorrow!

Doing a ton of research, but any advice/suggestions would be wonderful.

I’m thinking of going for more of a MIDI controller or cheaper keyboard that has MIDI.

It needs to:

  1. have MIDI for sure
  2. be under $300, under $200ish or so if at all possible
  3. have a modulation wheel
  4. be bought in an actual store tomorrow, since i need it for a show tomorrow night

Having it be stand-alone and have an audio output jack would be nice but I’m finding that that may not be quite so necessary.

I’m looking at the: Behringer U-Control UMX490 49-Key USB MIDI Controller and the M-Audio Oxygen MIDI controllers.
