The scene used to be about acceptance and brotherhood, now if you don’t have as many tattoos as me, your ears aren’t as big as mine, can’t dance like me, or don’t like the same bands as me then forget it, you’re scum. Hardcore’s trendy now, it’s the “cool” thing to do. I shouldn’t have to wear black clothes and band shirts, take pictures doing stupid hardstyle poses, or act like a tough guy just to be “accepted” in the scene, especially by other bands. If it weren’t for the fact that I love being in a band and ministry that’s part of the scene I’d have no part in it.
All I’m saying is be who you want to be, take a stand for what you believe in, and if someone else doesn’t meet your social standard then deal with it.

sometimes i listen to hardcore techno, terrorcore, speedcore, splittercore, gabber, extratone, etc. just because it’s super interesting.
although the problem is, 90% of it is made by really really wacked out people who sample some really messed up crap.

are there any other bands that can effectively mix hardcore/metal(core) with electronica and not sound like horrible generic “scenecore” besides enter shikari and the original emarosa?
i really don’t think there are.

In case you’re interested in the music I listen to. Also, if you give me a genre or some artists you like and want new related music, I’d be happy to make a playlist, just for you. All you have to do is ask :)
